Jane has extensive experience across international arbitration, regulatory investigation, debt restructurings and recovery, and regulatory compliance and has been named as a leading individual by major legal directories in all these areas before joining from our joint operation partner firm A&O Shearman as a partner.
Having worked in banking, capital markets, derivatives, regulatory compliance, and disputes at our joint operation partner firm A&O Shearman for more than two decades, serving major international and Chinese financial institutions and corporates alike, Jane is uniquely equipped to find solutions across multiple disciplines. Her boardroom presence often positions her as a strategic advisor on complex issues concerning China. Jane is praised by clients as an “amazing lawyer” and “the go-to advisor on PRC law matters” due to her “technical wizardry” and “client skills”.

Jane’s sensitivity to geopolitical dynamics and culture differences is a great asset in the resolution of issues and disputes with a Chinese nexus for multinational companies.
